FPSS Facilitator

  • Mapping and assessing potential beneficiaries to the relevant project’s activities
  • Register and enroll adolescents in the project activities
  • Disseminate information related to services for Syrian refugees and host communities
  • Establish peer to peer groups
  • Mobilize communities to participate in awareness sessions and community events
  • Participate and collaborate in other activities conducted in the center when needed
  • Mobilize stakeholders and community members to attend training and capacity building opportunities
  • Attend training and capacity building opportunities
  • Facilitate FPSS sessions with children and adolescents
  • Plan and prepare logistics for all center-based and mobile activities
  • Full coordination with the project coordinator to ensure proper implementation of the project. Plan, organize and run activities with children and adolescents while facilitate and encourage their participation
  • Ensure activities run in a timely manner to ensure the successful implementation of the project.
  • Deal with difficult behaviors (conflict, aggressiveness, introversion) and understand the reason behind the behavior to positively communicate with the situation.
  • Ensure Children under her/his responsibility are not exposed to any form of Harm or stress during the activities
  • Organize with key leaders, stakeholders and caregivers' community events and initiatives
  • Collect data on the activities organized and ensure that all the relevant forms are duly filled
  • Identify key protection issues or threats affecting children and adolescents and raise it to the coordinator
  • Refer protection and GBV cases to the social worker of the project
  • Ensure all project means of verifications (MOV) including attendance sheets, pre posttests, evaluation documents… are in place.
  • Fill and archive specific forms for referrals and weekly reporting, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness.

     

Knowledge and abilities

  • Candidates must have skills in working with children of all ages and social groups;
  • High integrity in social interactions.
  • Two-year work experience in implementing focused psychosocial activities with children.
  • Knowledge about child Protection/GBV and life skills
  • Skilled at working with local communities.
  • Holder of driving license.
