Communications Officer

Responsibilities

• Drive ongoing research and development of new media and communications concepts and identify key trends in media and communications
• Identify opportunities to tell the War Child story, driving awareness of the Organization
• Help manage daily tasks by following up and coordinating with key personnel internally
• Coordinate with suppliers and other external parties
• Draft stories in both English and Arabic
• Accompany filmmakers and photographers on set when filming videos and ensuring quality of content
• Assist the Communication Manger in all other related matters

Knowledges, Experience and skills,

• 2+ years communications experience within the public sector
• Ability to help create and drive successful communications campaigns
• Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized
• Storyteller with excellent written communication skills
• Problem solver
• Creativity and critical thinking
• Excellent command of English and Arabic
