Project Coordinator

Duties & Responsibilities

• Scope, identify and recruit volunteers to carry out the community service initiative;
• Manage and coordinate all selected volunteers;
• Insure proper harmony and homogenous workflow between MARCH program participants and volunteers;
• Coordinate and liaise between all relevant parties including organization’s management and suppliers;
• Develop clear criteria to determine whether family is eligible to receive the support extended;
• Outreach to new potential beneficiaries in concordance with the aforementioned eligibility criteria;
• Maintain, manage and build on the beneficiary database that the organization has developed throughout previous community service initiatives;
• Insure the timely and successful implementation of the community service initiative;
• Prevent and mitigate all occurring challenges with the supervision of the program manager and general coordinator.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management and logistics or other related fields;
• 2+ years of experience in project and field coordination;
• Ongoing or previous experience as a scout (preferably scout leader) is a plus; 
• Experience working within vulnerable and marginalized communities is an advantage;
• Proficiency in Arabic and English both spoken and written is a must;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Officer Suite, particularly Excel, is a must;
• Experience in data entry and database management is required;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines is required;
• Good problem-solving skills.
