Technical worker

PURPOSE

The Technical Worker performs technical tasks that require essential qualifications or relevant experience under supervision.

Certifications / Education required

Primary school education

Basic knowledge in English

Professional Experience required

Working experience: Technical support in Electricity is a must.

Skills required

Performs direct installation/maintenance of wiring at all premises/sites (tubing, conduits, cables)

Performs essential installation and repairs of AC, electrical appliances

Using and maintaining hand and power tools

Tests equipment, instruments and systems

Have essential knowledge of safety standards and procedures

Quality assurance skills

Capable to perform administrative duties from checking/responding to own email/requests, including project reporting

Teamwork, problem solving, organizational, time management, critical thinking, performing electrical risk assessments
 

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides technical support in areas such as electricity, plumbing, carpentry, etc.

Performs direct installation/ maintenance of wiring and electrical appliances

Tests equipment, instruments and systems

Immediately alerts supervisors to any issues that could have negative consequences or represent risk (technical malfunctions, accidents)

Handles the daily maintenance requests of ICRC BEY site and sub delegation when needed (Residences, offices, warehouses)

Ensures all maintenance projects are well implemented and completed

Responds to all operational needs

Supports in the closure and opening of all premises (offices / residential)

Establishes an accurate list of the equipment to be maintained.

Willing to work after duty hours if necessary.

Handles the installation works of spare parts.

Provides the daily activity report and the monthly report about projects conducted

Provides the inspection, opening & closing report of each residence

Provides the report related to each project assigned
