Digital Solution Assistant_Generic

CARE is implementing a capacity building and livelihood community-based agriculture project that seeks to address critical capacity gaps along targeted value chains at both the individual, communal and institutional levels This position is responsible for the outreach, implementation, follow up, and quality maintenance for the Agricultural Training activities, GHP/GMP, Food processing trainings, and GMP according to donor’s request with the support of the team.

CARE International and partners are shifting the training sessions under the AFDAL II project from face-to-face to online modality, therefore:

Responsibility: Digital Solution

  • Knowledge of KOBO programing for profiling and assessment tools development.
  • Preparation of TOT sessions for partners’ trainers on Microsoft Teams and other online platforms that might be used to conduct online training sessions for beneficiaries.
  • Support in installation of Microsoft Teams software for all beneficiaries.
  • Development of introductory videos for beneficiaries for online training preparation.
  • Conduct online one-on-one coaching sittings through WhatsApp if needed to build the beneficiaries capacities on online platforms usage.
  • Maintenance and implementation of the Attendance Management system.
  • Responsible for pre-post test registration on Google forms and follow up.

Responsibility: Project Implementation & Field work

  • Conduct and review the Attendance data entry for the payment lists for beneficiaries.
  • Coordination with partners regarding collection of supporting documents (IDs, Attendance sheets, other) as soft and hard copies for archiving.
  • Ensure data quality for collecting reliable and consistent data which meets minimum reporting requirements of donors and CIL.
  • Closely liaise and coordinate with the project team and partners on data uploading.
  • Conduct daily field monitoring visits to provide support when needed to ensure quality implementation in all areas (North Lebanon and South Lebanon).
  • Assist in organizing, preparing and running meetings, workshops and conferences and draft minutes.
  • Engage in filing and archiving data and files when needed.
  • Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to CARE and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission.
  • Any other tasks assigned.

 

a. Skills & knowledge:

  • Experience in in Field work and databases.
  • Extensive knowledge in Livelihoods Sector
  • Extensive experience interacting with and relating to gender professionals and international stakeholders at senior level.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal relationships and networks.
  • Motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative and international environment

b. Experience:

At least   3-5  years of relevant experience, especially at NGOs, academic organizations, standard-setting bodies, public agencies focused on data collection and analysis

c. Academic background: 

Master’s degree in one or several of the following areas: Business

  1. Languages: English and/ or Arabic are the working language of CARE International in Lebanon.
  1. of other languages is an asset.
