Volunteers (Round Tables) - Freedom of Religion and Belief

Position Summary:

Search is seeking participants to be part of a national roundtable to address the issue of sectarian tensions as a main barrier for religious freedom, through discussing key points and actions related to challenges around freedom of religion and belief (FoRB) in Lebanon.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Attending a certified introduction training on Common Ground Approach to Religious Engagement
  • In addition to further training in conflict analysis, dialogue facilitation, the Common Ground Approach to Advocacy etc
  • Attend a bi-monthly national roundtable on Freedom of Religion and Belief
  • Design and take part in creative advocacy and initiatives for FoRB action and reforms

 

Required Profile:

  • Lebanese living in Lebanon between the ages of 25 and 40 years
  • Passionate about creating a safe dialogue environment
  • Willing to volunteer and commit 4-6 hours per month for the duration of the project (36 Months)
  • Well connected, with good leadership, and communication skills
  • Active on FoRB topics (whether you have an initiative, a contribution, been part of a research, etc...)
