Food Security Project Officer (Prospective)

The Food Security Officer is responsible for the coordination and implementation of Food Security projects in Beirut and Mount Lebanon and will work under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director (DCD), based in Beirut.

S/he will be responsible for implementation, monitoring and evaluation of emergency food security interventions targeting Lebanese, migrant and refugee households in Beirut and Mount Lebanon including (1) project management support by ensuring that the activities, objectives and financials are met in accordance with Anera’s commitments and donor requirements; (2) leading the implementation of baseline vulnerability assessments and monitoring activities and results throughout the intervention; and (3) ensure appropriate coordination and communication with sector leads, partners and local stakeholders.
