Software Developer - IT - Makassed Hospital

Job Objective:

Makassed Hospital is seeking to recruit a highly skilled software developer in the IT department, selected candidate will be involved in the design and refinement of new requirements, as well as setting up plans to manage and evolve existing coding practices, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications. This includes configuring, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle.

Main Tasks:

• Perform maintenance for daily backup.
• Install system update format and install software.
• Supervise computer lab and server.
• Provide day-to-day management of access to the systems and services including logons, passwords, printing and access to user’s files/user areas.
• Demonstrate and promote good practice, safety and adherence to policies related to all aspects of the use of systems and services.
• Demonstrate proficiency with programming languages, learning concepts and applying them to the other problems.
• Install, configure, manage and maintain the resources and services provided by the IT department.
• Work on troubleshooting system errors.
• Maintain data base systems.
• Implement & build system.
• Develop and design new business programs.
• Update system policies, access and manuals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science.
• 2 to 3 years of full-stack experience using modern Java, C#, Visual studio, ASP.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams on larger streams.
• Project Management skills.
• Thorough understanding of clean code practices and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL databases and deploying to Linux environments would be a plus.
• Expected to be self-driven, easily adapt and quickly learn new concepts in a continuously evolving environment.
