RIDO’s Objectives
1. To improve environmental protection
2. To support community sheltering and road/brides participation
3. To diversify rural economy and improve the quality of life through socio-economic support to less privileged in the society especially the Vulnerable and marginalized groups, with special emphasis on youth and women empowerment
4. To eradicate hunger through diversification of rural agriculture and livelihood to vulnerable and marginalized rural communities in emergency; recovery and development.
5. To promote and ensure inclusive, equitable and quality rural education.
6. To promote healthy lives and well-being for rural communities.
7. To ensure availability and sustainable management of rural water, hygiene and sanitation.
8. To promote a peaceful and inclusive rural societies co-existence for sustainable development through a support to rural access to justice and building effective and accountable rural institutions at all levels.
9. To liaise and establish means of supporting orphans, poor children and people with special needs and minority groups’ protection especially in education advancements offer relief services whenever there is need or emergency.
10. To advocate for the promotion and protection of human rights, gender equality, gender based violence and child labor.
11. To hold seminars, workshops and conferences on methods of reducing the negative social behavior amongst the youth, women and disaster affected communities.
12. To promote and help communities to seek for democratic and accountable governance
