Accelerated Vocational Training Courses Ceremony

The program targeted 25 male and female trainees from the lower Chouf regions, specialized in the dental assistant and medical device delegate, during which the trainees acquired a lot of knowledge, skills and experience in the various stages of training, especially in the practical training department, which is considered the most important in the stages of identifying the practical reality and the needs of Labor market.

The courses were concluded with a graduation ceremony attended by the association’s president, Mr. Maher Mohamed Al-Haj, the CEO of LEAD, Mr. Ahmed Mustafa, Mrs. Arwa Bakkar and Mrs. Rayan Al-Masry, representatives of MERCY CORPS, the head of the Watad Association, Mr. Ghaith Al-Mara’bi and Mr. Hossam Houhou, the head of the Kawallis Association, Mr. Yazan Rashid, the courses coordinator, and Mr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Ma’ouch, the center’s coordinator, and the graduates’ families.

The ceremony started with the Lebanese national anthem, and after the speech of the master of the ceremony was a welcoming speech from the president of the association, who emphasized the association’s role in developing youth capabilities and promoting social responsibility, and the association’s readiness to cooperate and network with everyone for the service of humans and society.

Followed by the speech of the graduates from the two courses delivered by graduate Ceryne Al-Alti and graduate Arifa Al-Barraj, and then Professor Ahmad Mustafa presentig LEAD association stressed the importance of these courses, especially those related to the medical field, given the sector's need for more human resources, especially in light of the health crisis. He concluded by thanking the Lebanese Association for Initiative and Development for its role in the implementation and success of these courses in the Lower Chouf region in its centers.

Then, a speech was given by Rayan Al-Masry who explained to the attendees about the objectives of the 3amaly project and the opportunities it provides to young men and women at various levels in order to help them acquire sufficient skills that enable them to enter the labor market. After that, graduation certificates were distributed to the young graduates and handed over a bag of equipment to help them launch into the labor market.

The graduation ceremony was preceded by a session with Mr. Hossam Houhou, on mentorship and its importance in building and strengthening the personality of young men and women.
