Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 3.30pm
Position skills:
Manage and educate groups of children aged 7 to 14 as well as youth or adults, using exciting methods and instructional materials to meet students’ needs and interests.
- Prepare tests in alignment with the learning objectives
- Observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior and social development.
- Show patience and demonstrate ability to manage the class using appropriate methods.
- Maintain a safe and positive atmosphere among children.
- Prepare monthly and weekly plans.
- Support children enrolled in public school with their homework
- Organize sport/ craft/cooking etc. activities based on personal interest and skills during the month of July
- Meet regularly and effectively with coordinators.
- Work in harmony with team members.
- Show self-motivation, professionalism, enthusiasm and creativity.
- Take part in professional development opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- BA Degree in Education with an emphasis on English or a related BA. Teaching Diploma is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, sense of initiative, desire to learn, and flexibility.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Nonjudgmental attitude, maturity and patience in dealing with children and community members of different backgrounds.
- Adherence to Tahaddi’s core values of justice for all, integrity and serving deprived children with compassion and respect.
