1.Purpose:
Due to Covid-19 and its implications, all the focused PSS activities that were implemented in person had to be suspended. Instead, the WPE team in Lebanon worked on the adaptation of an existing curriculum to be delivered remotely via whatsapp: the Adapted Girl Shine Package.
FGDs and KIIs were already conducted with girls who previously attended the Adapted Girl Shine Package, their caregivers and IRC staff.
Under the funding of PRM, a learning piece identifying the achievements, challenges, and recommendations based on the analysis of the FGDs and KIIs and the existing resources, should be drafted and finalized by the end of October 2021.
Therefore, the IRC will be recruiting a consultant to analyze the data and draft the learning piece.
2. The service provider will be responsible of:
- Work with the WPE team to understand the background and all the details behind the adapted Girl Shine Package.
- Analyze the KIIs and FGDs that were already transcribed and translated.
- Check other available documents, resources and tools (M&EE tools) to complement the analysis.
- Present the final learning document to the WPE team and work on the final edits.
- Submit a brief PowerPoint Presentation with the main findings/recommendations to be used for internal and external presentations.
Payment Schedule:
- 1 lump sum at the end of the contract paid upon completion of the above deliverables.
- The service provider will work till the end of October to complete the learning piece.
Requirements:
- Graduate Degree in Social Science, Public Health, Human Rights or other fields that are relevant to the scope of the consultancy.
- Fluency in English.
- Minimum 4-5 years of relevant work experience in the areas of research, GBV, protection, advocacy.
- Previous professional experience in Protection or gender/GBV programming, preferably in an emergency context.
- Strong research skills and knowledge of participatory research methods.
- Experience in program reviews, producing lessons learned and best practices.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Strong ability to organize work and meet deadlines.
- Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, intercultural and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
