The Association for forests, Development and Conservation (AFDC) was awarded project from RMF, a USAID-fund project entitled “Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods”.
In particular, the objective of the PSL Project is to improve the livelihoods of the residents in the targeted municipalities through various interventions that include training, technical assistance, infrastructure rehabilitation, promotion of local products and access to markets and supporting the development of the local touristic sector. The project hopes to improve the livelihoods of 31,500 households across 105 municipalities in the North, Bekaa, South and Mount Lebanon areas.
For that, AFDC is looking for Field Officers to support in:
- Conduct field visits to the forests, agriculture, and tourism sites for data collection.
- Coordinate and communicate with the targeted municipalities and local stakeholders.
- Coordinate and support the project’s consultants and management team.
- Assist in the data entry of the collected information.
- Conduct socioeconomic surveys in the targeted villages.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
