MAIN TASKS:
- Act as primary contact and focal person for the assigned projects
- Establish and maintain effective communication with inter-departments and key staff to ensure effective implementation of the projects requirements.
- Prepare project documents in close coordination with relevant departments (operations, Technical, finance) for new funding/donors
- Keep track of all deliverables due from all departments and make sure that they are received in time to keep in line with the project implementation plan
- In coordination with the director, and alongside the Finance, Technical, Operation, HR, and M&E take the lead on developing new projects across Lebanon, in accordance with the organization strategy
- Maintain and develop working relationships with existing donors and explore opportunities to renew potential partnerships in line with the program priorities
- Organize and facilitate the Planning Meetings/kick-off for new projects, in collaboration with different departments/units
- Work closely with the relevant departments to ensure that all partnership opportunities conform to LUPD regulations
- Assist with capacity assessments and contribute to the drafting of the capacity building plan, policies and more
- Prepare project-specific reporting templates and tools in line with donor requirements.
- Prepare narratives, reports and ensuring all requirements are met as well as means of verification
- Undertake other duties as required by Director and president
- Take the lead on arranging and holding kick-off meetings
- Develop high-quality concept notes and proposals
- Assess call for funds while focusing on the compliances of the calls.
- Occasionally might need to support in logistics and others duties as required by the executive director or president.
Experience:
3-5 years of practical experience in project coordination/management with NGO’s, preferably in the Lebanon context
Professional competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, or Social Sciences
- Minimum 3 years’ experience from working as a Project Coordinator/Manager in a humanitarian
- Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Experience working with human rights programs, with a strong understanding of protection issues
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal
