Area Monitor

DCL is looking for Area Monitors in Akkar, Tripoli, Zgharta, Batroun, and Bcharre Areas for the WFP 2021-2022 School Snacks Project. Please send a CV and a cover letter to:

Job description:

• Monitor and facilitate the distribution of snacks in assigned schools (morning and afternoon shifts – AM/PM).
• Resolve any challenges that arouse during the distribution.
• Liaise with school principles and make all arrangements for smooth distribution.
• Collaborate with WFP representatives.
• Supervise Distribution Assistants and assign tasks.
• Report daily and monthly to the Senior Project Assistant.

Qualification

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience (experience within an NGOs is a plus);
• Knowledge of humanitarian and NGO principles;
• Very good knowledge of the project management cycle and experience in management;
• MS proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.);
• Previous experience working with international NGOs, is a plus.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.
• Must have a car and valid driving license.

Duration of Contract

• 7 months (October 2021 till May 2022)
