Case Management Consultant

Job Overview

The Case Management Consultant is responsible for the training and coaching of case management services and psycho-social support to women and children. The Case Management Consultant will guarantee the correct and efficient implementation of the case management’s activities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES, MAIN DUTIES AND REPORTING:

Case Management:

  1. Develop a training curriculum and training plan for case workers.
  2. Conduct regular training sessions to the staff.
  3. Supervise and coach caseworkers and support them through the provision of technical guidance and age/gender appropriate and specialized support on case management and psychosocial support to women and girls and to girls and boys in need of case management.
  4. Ensure all caseworkers are familiar with, practice and adhere to the GBV guideline
  5. Hold regular mentoring, trainings, and coaching sessions based on identified needs and gaps.
  6. Provide ongoing support to the case workers in the target area, ensuring proper and timely information flow, supervision and advice in complex cases.
  7. Undertake field visits to provide technical guidance and supervision as well as regularly monitoring of the progress of the Protection project activities.
  8. Any other relevant activities or duties as required.

  4. Perform other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
REPORTS TO: 

CP Program Manager

EDUCATION AND Experience:
  • University degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology or other related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in counseling survivors of gender-based violence or vulnerable women and girls/and or in child protection case management
  • Previous experience working with Syrian refugees in Lebanon and in international organizations and humanitarian settings is preferred

  • Good background information about child protection
  • Committed to equality and social inclusion
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • High confidentiality, respect, and non-discrimination attitude.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team player, flexible, able to handle pressure well and work in cross-cultural setting;
  • High level of planning and organizing (ability to meet deadlines)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively with others
  • Demonstrated understanding of working with children and particularly vulnerable children;
  • Staunch advocate of child protection and child rights;
  • Willingness to learn new skills and/or approaches
  • Ability to show initiative and take responsibility
Employment Conditions:
  • Contract duration: 10 days;
  • Required Starting Date: October 2021;
