Ensure Implementation of NCG activities
Conduct Outreach in BML neighborhoods in order to identify interested beneficiaries for the project
Attend regular meetings with technical team and project supervisor to receive the NCG lessons.
Meet with NCGs Volunteers periodically (at least 3 times per month) to capacitate them on NCG lessons.
Discuss and find solutions with NCG volunteers on challenges encountered on regular basis (with support of supervisor when needed)
Ensure that lessons learned and challenges are shared with project supervisor.
Participate in program planning by offering suggestions for improvements, engaging in discussions, planning and implementing new directions.
NCG promotors to provide the lessons to NCG volunteers utilizing the droplet method.
Supervises each NCG Volunteer on a regular basis accompanying them on home visits and observing them leading NCG meetings.
Completes monthly reports based on the data provided from the group of volunteers.
Coordinates local-level activities and maintains cooperation with other community-level institutions, such as CBOs, FBO, schools, scouts…
Models the behaviors he/she teaches NCG Volunteers in his/her own home
Make sure that volunteers are equipped with the needed materials to conduct the sessions with the beneficiaries in coordination with the supervisor.
Make sure that the volunteers and beneficiaries receive any available kits/materials.
Submit of a monthly report related to the progress of the work to the supervisor in a timely manner
Communicate emerging CP and Education issues to the supervisor on an ongoing basis
Handle all type of referrals including CP and Education according to WVL RIMS SOPs
Projects activities are implemented as per the developed action plan

Handle Volunteers management
Monitor time attendance of volunteers and address any issues related to attendance and punctuality with related team members. Confer with the volunteer as needed, regarding regular and punctual attendance.
Establish and maintain work schedules that meet program goals and objectives
Recognize and share volunteers’ accomplishments and foster positive staff morale. Provide appropriate feedback and support to enhance job performance.
Effectively manage the performance of volunteers by ensuring regular performance reviews, and annual appraisals are done.
Address performance or behavioral issues when they arise.
Volunteers are managed effectively to meet project objectives

Handle output level reporting, safeguarding and accountability incidents reporting
Collect data on the activities organized and fill relevant forms on daily basis.
Fill all project means of verifications (MOV) including but not limited to attendance sheets, distribution lists, activity plans, etc.
Enter all project related MOVs into the system.
Report on the activities in a timely and quality manner that would help submission of accurate reports internally and externally.
Refer children and caregivers in need of case management according to the established guidelines.
Properly refer all protection and CP cases and document it.
Implement Child Protection Standards and Child Safe Organization.
Report any child and adult safeguarding incident as per the established guidelines and ensure that safeguarding incidents are being reported by project staff as required
Progress reports are done and submitted as per the required deadline

Responsible of own security and actively contribute to a positive security culture
Abide by the security policies and procedures and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
2 year of proven experience in implementation of Education/Child Protection/Protection programming; human rights and/or advocacy work.
Good understanding of best practices and strategies in protection and Education programming (protection monitoring, GBV, Child protection, ECCD);
Knowledge of the psychosocial guidelines and approaches related to emergency context (MHPSS IASC guidelines, PFA principles, etc.).
Familiar with core principles of Children Rights, Participation, Do No Harm, Community and Family Support as well as Children in Emergencies minimum standards.
Proven experience in community mobilization;
Proven experience working in emergency settings;
Experience in implementing projects through local partners and providing direct technical support to local organizations;
Strong written and oral communication skills, effective in representation and liaison with external parties;
Good Communication and interpersonal skills with ability to network and negotiate with partners and government bodies.
Ability to work in and contribute to dynamic team operating in a fragile environment
Required Education,

University degree or higher education relevant to Social Studies, Education, Protection, Development Studies human rights, law or other relevant fields;
Good computer literacy in Microsoft Office package (incl. Excel), and holder of a valid driver’s license.
