Main Role
LRC Multi-Sectoral Programme Coordinator, while being part of LRC Planning Section, will have double role. On one hand the coordinator will be supporting in the design and development of LRC integrated programs covering several sectors, on the other the Coordinator will be closely following up on multi-sectoral project implementation coordination internally with the relevant Sector and externally with the Participating National Societies as well as other donors. The Coordinator will be involved in all multi-sectoral project/program cycle phases, including the initial assessment, the planning phase, the implementation, and monitoring phase as well as the evaluation phase. The Coordinator will assist and advise project staffs in order to increase performance and impact, answering on the challenges faced and lessons learned. She/He will be also responsible for all non-project-specific duties, including reporting, quality assurance, compliance and risk management.
Along the above responsibilities, the coordinator will need to support in the development of M&E plans for the multi-sectoral projects as well as the needed tools, in coordination with technical MEAL experts. In collaboration with the IM coordinator at the Planning Section He/She will be responsible of aggregating and reporting on the data relevant to each LRC multi-sectoral project.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordination with PNSs and the Sectors on the design of new projects.
- Writing and compiling multisectoral project proposals.
- Support LRC sectors with impact-oriented reporting.
- Supporting LRC operational Sectors switching from project-based intervention to programme-based intervention.
- Promote teamwork to ensure harmonization, linkages, collaboration, and synergy across LRC Sectors. Ensure that staff members involved in multisectoral projects are provided sufficient information, guidance and support to collaborate and support on project implementation.
- Work closely with LRC management supporting the development of coherent and consistent operational plans in alignment to the strategic objectives of LRC. To this end, provide support and advice programmes to develop aligned plans and budgets according to the institutional priorities striving for high quality deliverables, and the identification of assumptions and risks.
- Facilitate inter-sectoral coordinated joint working modalities and in the design of operational plans/multi-sectoral interventions promoting synergy, optimization of resources and impact mirrored in implementation.
- Support in the design and roll-out of relevant monitoring and evaluation tools, accountability mechanisms towards beneficiaries, knowledge management, standardization of MEAL processes/procedures, contributing towards evidence-based programming.
Technical skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbally and written in both English and Arabic)
- Proven experience in proposal writing and donor relation
- Proven experience in producing quality reports
- Strong and proven experience in project design and proposal writing
- Strong experience in coordination with donors and internally
- Good knowledge of project cycle management
- A substantive experience in integrated programming
- Good PMEAL experience
- Excellent budgeting skills

- Experience in training, mentoring and capacity building
