Life Skills Teacher / Beqaa

HAND is seeking to recruit Life Skills Teacher with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to teach.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create life skills training programs and plans.
• Assisting students in improving their verbal, new grammar, and writing skills
• The use of language in expression and communication
• Performing inductive and deductive reasoning.
• Emotional and subjective tendencies control, as well as recognizing and controlling the individual's own conduct
• Developing distinct relationships with others, as well as engagement, interaction, and a sense of shared belonging
• The ability to effectively affect social life by resolving disagreements, reaching group consensus, and resolving conflicts.
• Complete tasks in a specific design or format.
• Listening attentively (ability to interpret nonverbal language)

Qualifications and Experience:

• University degree in Psychology or Sociology
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in operating programs or gender-based violence, preferably in an emergency context
• Experience training or staff training within the organization or in a partner organization
• To have previous experience in training and facilitation work in professional projects and training centres
• A clear understanding of gender, human rights and issues surrounding violence against women and girls
• The ability to organize individual meetings and case studies as well as organize focused meetings
• Fluent in Arabic, both spoken and written; English required according to the subject matter and area of operation
• Experience in using computer programs (word, excel, power point) e-mails, and online education platforms, and KOBO Collect

• Strong public speaking and oral presentation skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with others and clearly express complex ideas

• وضع برامج وخطط للتدريب على مهارات الحياة.
• مساعدة الطلاب على تحسين مهاراتهم الكلامية والقرائية والكتابية
• استعمال اللغة في التعبير والتواصل.
• القيام بالعمليات الاستقرائية والاستنباطية.
• التحكم في الانفعالات والمشاعر والميول الذاتية وفهم وتوجيه الفرد لسلوكه الذاتي
• إقامة العلاقات المتميزة مع الآخرين والمشاركة والتفاعل والشعور بالانتماء الجماعي
• القدرة على حلّ الصراعات وإيجاد التوافق داخل الجماعة والتأثير الفعال في الحياة الاجتماعية.
•  إنجاز مهام معينة وفق تصميم أو شكل معين
• الاستماع الفعال (القدرة على تفسير اللغة الغير لفظية(

المؤهلات والخبرة:

• أن يكون حاصل على شهادة جامعية في علم النفس أو علم الاجتماع

• المهنية في مجال برامج الحماية المجتمعية أو العنف القائم على نوع الجنس، ويفضل أن يكون ذلك في سياق الطوارئ
• التدريب على الخبرة أو تدريب موظفين آخرين داخل المنظمة أو في منظمة شريكة
• أن يكون لديه خبرة سابقة في أعمال التدريب والتيسير في المشاريع المهنية ومراكز التدريب
• فهم واضح لنوع الجنس وحقوق الإنسان والقضايا المحيطة بالعنف ضد النساء والفتيات
• القدرة على تنظيم الاجتماعات الفردية ودراسة الحالات وكذلك تنظيم الاجتماعات المركزة
• يجيد اللغة العربية تحدثا وكتابتا . اللغة الإنجليزية مطلوبة حسب الموضوع ومنطقة العمل
• خبرة في استخدام البريد الإلكتروني وبرامج الكمبيوتر (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ، ومنصات التعليم الالكترونية, والعمل على برنامج KOBO Collect

• مهارات القيادة والصبر للعمل مع الطلاب من جميع الأعمار

• القدرة على التواصل الفعال مع الآخرين والتعبير بوضوح عن الأفكار المعقدة
• القدرة على العمل بشكل منظم
