Monitoring and Evaluation Data Officer (Re-advertised)

Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF) is recruiting a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Data Officer .

Position summary

The M&E Data Officer will work with the Monitoring and Evaluation team to manage the quality of data captured, establish and maintain database systems across programs, and analyze data for reporting purposes. The M&E Data Officer is responsible for supporting RMF staff to regularly collect, enter, verify, and analyze data and work with the M&E team to make timely database adjustments to measure the impact of RMF programs and to help ensure monitoring and evaluation data is accurately incorporated into all organizational reports and information products.

The M&E Data Officer will report directly to the M&E Head of Department.

Regular tasks:

• Work as part of a broader team to design, facilitate and support data collection and analysis systems including baseline, annual, and end line surveys, regular monitoring, data collection and analysis, feedback and reporting.
• Development of assessment forms based on giving templates with skipping pattern
• Train enumerators and field officers on the use of data collection methods, tools, and processes
• Follow-up on data technical issues pertaining to data collection across all RMF projects
• Generate data reports (tables/graphs/reports) from the database at regular intervals, ensuring reports/information are available for program implementation staff as required.
• Responsible for Data Validation, Data Management, Data Analysis and Data Visualization
• Creation of validation and cleaning processes on incoming data
• General maintenance of (relational) databases
• Develop training materials on data collection techniques, data safety and security, among other topics

Education and Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in the Monitoring, Evaluation field
• Strong experience in narrative reporting.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline
• Previous experience with mobile data collection (ODK, ONA, KOBO);
• Experience in using SharePoint
• Experience in training and coaching
• Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word, and ability to use computer programs to collect, document and share assessment and monitoring results
• Interpersonal and Organizational skills
• Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrated understanding of emergency response activities
