Job definition
The prevention officer will be participating in the planning and development of the prevention programs. S/he will be handling the operational organization and implementation of the prevention activities at various levels
Main Responsibilities
- To participate in the development of the prevention program’s strategy
- To organize the preparation of the detailed action plan of all prevention activities
- To handle the execution of assignments in direct prevention actions (sessions, presentations, conferences): schools, universities, local communities, governmental agencies, NGOs and others.
- To coordinate with various resources asking for prevention actions in different settings such as schools, universities, NGOs, parishes, governmental agencies, communities, municipalities and other institutions.
- To participate in research
- To undertake other responsibilities according to management requirements.
Education
The candidate should hold a BA in Education, Public Health, Social Work or relevant university degree. A Master is a plus.
Experience
A minimum of 5-year experience in jobs related to prevention, life skills, teaching or management in schools, youth counseling, social work, community institutions, NGO programs or educational organizations. Member of Scout or Red Cross is a plus.

- Age: 27 and above
- Languages: Fluent in Arabic, English and French
- Computer skills: Competent in using Word, Excel and Power Point
- Strong in communication and creative skills
