MHPSS assessment consultant- Lebanon

One of Tabitha’s missions is to establish psychosocial support for Lebanese host communities, refugees, and migrant workers. These communities are feeling a lot pressure caused by wars and conflicts before, and economic crisis and emotional distress now. Besides that, many refugees are affected by trauma and chronic stress and have resorted to negative coping mechanisms in order to make a living under such challenging circumstances. To be able to always give the psychological follow up to beneficiaries. Tabitha wishes to hire a consultant to evaluate and identify the gaps in its MHPSS services, and recommend solutions for the future.

The main objective of this consultancy is to improve our MHPSS services.

• We want to identify the MHPSS needs for Tabitha in our projects locations.
• We want to identify gaps and improve the MHPSS services and referral pathways For Dorcas and Tabitha.
• We want to develop, in collaboration with Tabitha staff, a methodology as well as tools to help achieve our goals.

The data collection strategy should include the use of a number of tools to attain the assessment objectives, including: Desk review of background documents, field visits to the different community centers, focus group discussions, key informant interviews.
