- Purpose
ACTED is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Trainer in sales to train 100 women (divided in seven groups). Each group of women will receive two training days, for a total of 14 training days or 70 hours. The training will be conducted in Jabal Mohsen, Tripoli. The schedule of the trainings will be decided in collaboration with the selected sales trainer.
The training should include the following topics and activities:
- Sales strategies
- Closing a sale
- Booking appointments
- Inviting women to home-based sessions
- Presenting product information
- Communications skills/Self-confidence
- Sales role-play
- Brainstorming potential questions on the product (comparison with other products on the market)
- Tasks and Responsibilities
- ACTED will support the selected trainer to develop training material (presentations, etc.) and the agenda of the training. The training material must be tailored to the women’s sanitary hygiene product manufactured through the project. The training should be facilitated in Arabic.
- It is expected that through the training, women are given knowledge on clear communication approaches, and their confidence is improved for door-to-door sales as well as sales visa social media where relevant, including explaining the benefits of the product, describing its unique selling points over that of competiors, sharing the pricing of the product etc. Other relevant elements such as dealing with difficult customers must be integrated in the training.
- Provide 70 hours of training to 100 women in Tripoli, organized over 14 days (5 hours each day).
- Final report of findings and recommendations (to be developed with the support of the ACTED team)
- Qualifications Required
- Person Qualifications:
- Expert in sales (Previous Sale Representative experience is preferable- such as make up or tuppeware sales representative)
- Experience in technical training is a plus
- Capacity to think creatively in dealing with vulnerable audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills and a supportive technical and communication style
- Strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrated the ability to make effective presentations to Strong command of Arabic (the training language)
- A clear understanding of the political, geographic, and economic dynamics of the Tripoli area
- Years of Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in working in a similar field
- Competencies:

- Address needs and requests in a professional way.
Report any incident or act that causes any harm to the beneficiary or others.
