Early Childhood Education (ECE) Project Coordinator

Job Purpose:

The main purpose of this role is to ensure proper planning, implementation, and finalization of the ECE project in Tariq Jdide, Beirut, Lebanon.

Responsibilities:

1. Set a plan for the project given and ensure its implementation
2. Ensure that the plan is being implemented taking into consideration set deadlines
3. Coordinate project activities of outreach and enrollment
4. Follow-up on the performance of the teachers during project implementation
5. Follow-up with the team of teachers on schedules, attendance, and daily in-class plans with the head teacher
6. Follow-up on the capacity building of the team of teachers
7. Monitor and evaluate the team of teachers and their relevant performance
8. Ensure expenditure of the project is within the planned budget
9. Ensure the center is adequately equipped for the progress of the services
10. Record and archive all information about the attending students
11. Record and archive all information requested by MEHE
12. Report the progress of the project on a monthly basis to the program manager
13. Report the performance of the teachers on a timely basis to the program manager
14. Maintain proper communication with the program manager
15. Coordinate with the MEAL officer on internal reporting
16. Coordinate with the MEAL officer on feedback mechanisms and data-bases
17. Communicate with external stakeholders and local authorities, if needed, to ensure the progress of the project
18. Any other duty assigned by the program manager

Requirements:

1. BA in education, social sciences, or other related field
2. 2- 3 year experience in a similar position
3. Knowledge and experience with CB-ECE curriculum
4. Good understanding of creating and analyzing data-bases
5. Awareness, acceptability, and adaptability towards working within a team and with diverse cultures
6. Demonstrated organizational, time management, and team leading skills
7. Familiarity with writing reports
