Outreach Worker - Taanayel

General Objectives & Tasks:

1- Identification and outreaching activities:

  • Identify community mediators for an informal dispute resolution and referral.
  • Outreach vulnerable people in the Beqaa area according to the criteria of the project.
  • Conduct interviews with these people for data collection.
  • Create and classify files of each case.
  • Convince and persuade the outreached people to attend trainings sessions.

 

2- Trainings attendance:

  • Attend all the trainings conducted.
  • Attend and monitor the trainings conducting vulnerability assessments in the field and communication with beneficiaries.

 

3- Following up phase:

  • Ensure the attendance of the beneficiaries to the training sessions.
  • Follow up with beneficiaries on the training results.
  • Write a detailed report for each beneficiary’s assessment and needs.
  • Empower and promote the development and independence of the beneficiaries.
  • Write a report about the activities conducted along with its related documentation (pictures, attending sheets).

 

4- Coordinate and collaborate with the center’s staff and the external partners of the association:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with the center’s staff and the external partners of the association.
  • Organize sessions/trainings for the beneficiaries and make sure all the related parties are well informed and present at the sessions.
  • Stay in touch with the Project Manager and NEF (Near East Foundation) Reporting Officer to coordinate the outreach process.
  • Plan the steps with a multitasking approach.
  • Develop and retain solid connections with potential partners and permanent members of the association in order to ensure the unit’s mission and serve the greatest possible number of people.
