LOST is seeking to recruit a Psychomotor Therapist in Qaa, Ain Qabelias
Position Aim:
Assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs that restore or promote the physical health and personal development of patients as well as treating or preventing physical challenges associated with injuries, diseases and other impairments.
Main responsibilities;
1.Examinations and screening of psychomotor and psych affective disorders:
Assess the level of psychomotor impairments/difficulties and accordingly set an individualized treatment plan.
Conduct psychomotor therapy interventions to children with special needs.
Take detailed notes on the patient’s history and progress.
Collaborate with parents through meetings in order to meet desired goals and to evaluate the child's progress.
Report on the child’s progress and develop discharge summaries.
Assist teachers, staff, and families in implementing effective strategies to facilitate the improvement of the child.
Observe the patients and carry out a psychomotor assessment for each.
Update and present the patient’s file every week.
Prepare a weekly and monthly plan for each beneficiary with detailed evaluations.
Prepare and exhibit conferences, trainings and workshops for the team as requested.
Be attentive to the patient’s needs and help them to develop self-confidence.
Evaluate the patients’ psychomotor capacities.
Seek to identify the origin of the patient’s difficulties.
Provide support and mentorship to patients.
2. Psychomotor Rehabilitation:
Enable patients to gesture easily and obtain a sense of well-being.
Alleviate or correct the disorders.
Develop and recourse coordination and rhythm activities
3.Collaboration and Teamwork:
Accompany the team and participate in implementing effective strategies to facilitate the improvement of the beneficiaries.
Inform and update the team on the superlative psychomotor practices
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychomotor Therapy or any other relevant field.
3 years of relevant work experience as a minimum.
Specialized understanding and scientific approach to human behavior, cognitive performance, mental illness and psychosocial problems.
Ability to engage in case formulation, treatment delivery and final outcome evaluation processes.
Computer literacy.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluency in Arabic and English.
