Business Development Support Technical Trainers

RMF is currently recruiting six experienced Technical trainers with expertise in Business Development Support (see below). The series of trainings will take place as part of a new development program that is designed to empower Lebanese MSMEs in North Lebanon

The project aims to support MSMEs during the current Economic crisis the country is witnessing. The training’s purpose is to enhance the businesses’ knowledge in business topics.

Job Description:

The Technical training sessions are a series of trainings that are part of a bigger training program, where the businesses would have received the basic business training support. The technical training listed below are focused on what each sector needs.

  • Access to Market and International Market for the sectors of Handicraft and Food Production
    • Provide businesses with input on how to broaden their outreach
    • Make sure businesses know the basic criteria for reaching the International market
    • Preferably the trainer is someone who is an entrepreneur who has a business and was able to export outside Lebanon.
  • Digital Marketing and Branding
    • Provide social media pages for beneficiaries.
    • Provide guidance on how the branding should be in today’s world.
    • Ensure proper Labeling on products
    • Online marketing and social media;
    • Engagement with clients on social media with focusing on professional image.
    • Establishment of Loyal clients
  • Merchandising
    • Delivery of information that would increasing the sales of the business throughout the current economic crisis the country is witnessing
  • Computer Skills
    • The computer skills training is focused on the basic Microsoft tools needed for businesses to properly manage their businesses.
  • Stock/Inventory Management
    • Businesses in the Sector of trade are lacking the basic skills of how to properly manage their inventory especially with the current economic crisis.
    • Tools on how to properly store inventory especially with the Dollar Crisis.
  • Employee Management for the field of Food and Beverages Sector
    • The food and beverage sector is currently witnessing several problems regarding recruiting and maintaining employees.
    • A training that focuses on employee retention, customer service and work ethics in this sector is needed.

Main duties of the trainer(s) :

  • Provide training sessions
  • Prepare and design training materials, tools, presentations, assignments and activities, in communication and mutual understanding with the Project team
  • Pre and post test for the participants
  • Adapt training content and prepare presentations and use a highly interactive training methodology
  • Report on the progress and flow of each training session.
  • Provide all the material needed for the training sessions.
  • At the end of the training, the trainer will present a detailed report about the training and evaluation by assessing training effectiveness including methods and content of the training

Required competencies:

The trainer(s) is expected to have the following skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the field he/she is applying for
  • Competency in delivering hands-on-support
  • Experience in training
  • Positive attitude, energetic and very strong communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and previous experience in online sessions

In addition, we expect from trainers a strong commitment to advancing the overall goals of the entire program and ensuring that the particular training is given as a coherent part of the entire program.
