HR Consultant

1. BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE

The Arab Resource Collective (ARC) is a non-governmental organization registered in Lebanon. ARC's mission is to produce and disseminate knowledge, promote policies and develop human resources to translate rights into reality. ARC targets children and youth within their environment to achieve health for all, better childhood, and community development.

The Arab Network for Early Childhood (ANECD) was launched in 2014 as a Regional ECD network hosted by the Arab Resource Collective (ARC) in Lebanon.

Building on the "Convention of the Rights of the Child", ANECD's mission and general goal are to Connect, empower, harmonize, advocate, produce and communicate regionally adapted ECD experiences and resources to Arab societies on the rights of young children to playful learning, health, nutrition, and protection from harm.

The purpose of this consultancy is to revise, update, and develop all ARC/ANECD's needed organizational management and admin policies building on previously available ones, and following the international standards, Lebanese laws and their amendments, and ARC/ANECD's human rights vision, mission, strategies, and in alignment with its Culture, Language, 

Revision, update and development of ARC/ANECD's:

1. Management, financial, and administrative Policies.
2. Organizational policies governing the Code of conduct.
3. Personnel, recruitment and employment guidelines and procedures
4. Partnership policies

Timeframe: The consultancy will commence ASAP for two months.

Remuneration: To be discussed based on the work plan and budget presented by the consultant.

Consultant qualifications:

• A Master's degree in either HRM, Management, Organizational Psychology, Business administration
• Excellent understanding of HR legislations and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience in developing HRM Manuals for NGOs
• Proven experience of 5 or more years in the field.
• Fluency in Arabic and English
