IMCT and Media Assistant FAP

  1. Support the internal coordination of all IT/IS and media related activities in support of the Family Assistance Program in Beirut.

 

  1. Address all IT/IS related requests in a timely and accurate manner, while efficiently allocating resources and support where required.

 

  1. Provide support in implementing necessary systems upgrades and IT infrastructure changes compliant with IOM ICC Standards and the IT requirements of the donor; install systems, network components and software; suggest best technical solutions to achieve required standards while taking into consideration local technical constraints.

 

  1. Assist in the configuring, installing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure including routers, wan optimizers, FortiGate firewalls, voice gateways, CISCO Contact-Center and access points, etc.

 

  1. Incorporate IOM’s Data Protection Principles and particularly FAP Data Protection donor requirements into all IT/IS solutions and service delivery.

 

  1. Provide IT and Communication training to all end users to ensure productive use of existing and new systems, applications, and software (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Teams, Microsoft Power Apps…)

 

  1. Support in the administration/management/customization of FAP ICT services/solutions (Microsoft Power BI, App, Microsoft 365 Solutions “Dynamics 365, Office 365, Teams …”, LAN, WAN, Messaging, Internet connectivity, etc.), to prevent and minimize downtime or service interruptions.  Perform daily monitoring and adequate completion of backups & Documentation.

 

  1. Maintain the office's IT inventory for hardware and software (safeguarding media and licenses), including regular updates to the technical documentation of related FAP IT and social networks strategy.

 

  1. Support in the overall maintenance of present and upcoming ICT equipment, as well as CISCO WebEx accounts and Local Area Networks based on FAP infrastructure standard.

 

  1. Support staff with technical and software problems encountered with the FAP platforms specifically Dynamics 365 and WebEx CC.

 

  1. Support access control management; cards registration, deletion, and logs reporting

 

  1. Seek quotes and provide to procurement to carry out purchases of IT equipment as required by new project’s components and to upgrading requests FAP Management Team.

  1. Inform FAP IM officer in the project management of any problems or issues immediately and regularly make suggestions on how to improve efficiency and operations service.

 

  1. Maintain and ensure confidentiality of all FAP-related matters, in accordance with the confidentiality guidelines and donor’s instructions.

 

  1. Take active steps to mitigate fraud and malfeasance, and to monitor the integrity of records containing individual data based on the IOM and donor requirements.

 

  1. Perform any other duties as may be assigned
