About the USAID-Funded Community Support Program (CSP) in Lebanon:

USAID’s Community Support Program (2018 – 2025) is designed to support municipalities and underserved and vulnerable communities in providing better services and enhanced economic opportunities to improve lives and reduce tensions that contribute to conflict and violence, primarily in Lebanon’s North, South, and Beqaa regions.

Description of Intervention:

CSP is seeking quotations from Private, non-governmental, non-political and not-for profit organizations to implement a short-term labor-intensive work (LIW) activity to clear around 53,000 linear meters (53 kilometers) of external irrigation canals in four villages of the Beqaa region: Bwarej, Barr Elias, and Qabb Elias, located in the Zahleh District of the Beqaa Governorate, and El Fekehe, in the Baalbek District of Baalbek-Hermel Governorate. The objective of the activity is to carry out employment intensive non-complex works, including, management and supervision of community workers to conduct cleaning activities of irrigation canals and surrounding areas.
