Re-advertising M&E Support: Data cleaning, analyzing and reporting Call for Consultancy (individuals only) - Remote Position

Job Title          :  M&E support Data Cleaning and reporting

Duty Station  :  Remotely

Reporting to  :  Senior MEAL Officer in Lebanon

Overall Role   :  Under the direct supervision of the Senior MEAL officer in Lebanon, the M&E support worker will support WHH Lebanon after the data collection (surveys, questionnaires…) in data cleaning and reporting.

Duration         :  6 months agreement: casual worker contract

Responsibilities:

• Conduct data cleaning for data collected
• Interpret data, analyze results and data visualization using statistical techniques mainly Excel
• Draft, write and contribute to monitoring reports, based on conducted activities and as needed
• Provide feedback and daily updates to MEAL Lebanon, on any observation, survey results and outcomes
• Attend the daily updates meeting of the M&E support workers responsible for data collection with Senior WHH MEAL Lebanon
• Attend training session
• Provide translation as needed
• Other tasks as the needs arise
• Adhere to, and behave in line with the humanitarian principles

Experience and Qualification:

1. Education                 : Bachelor’s Degree in business, economic or social science  
2. Working experience  : At least 2 year of previous experience working for a humanitarian organization in Lebanon, in the field of M&E (mandatory), field worker, or similar
3. Skills:                                            

• Knowledge of Kobo Toolbox and/or Akvoflow software
• Experience in cleaning data and visualization
• Able to write reports
• Knowledge of common computer programs, particularly MS Excel

4. Personality requirements     Ability to integrate in a multicultural team, good communication skills, good attention to detail, willing and able to work on short notice basis, with irregular working days (work only during weekdays Mon-Fr)
5. Language Skills:                         Fluency in Arabic and English essential.
6. Other requirement:              The M&E support worker is responsible to ensure his transportation and communication during the mission

General Terms and Conditions:

The M&E support worker will be employed for a 6-month agreement, and missions will be conducted based on needs. On an on-call basis by Welthungerhilfe. Working hours will vary per month.

While employed by Welthungerhilfe, the M&E support worker is obliged to maintain the

confidentiality of all information obtained in the course of work. The M&E support worker will be contracted through a Service Contract, based on Welthungerhilfe’s employment conditions for local staff in Lebanon. The starting date for this position is as soon as possible.
