Job Title: Math Learning Support Teacher

SHAHD Association announces the need for a Learning Support Teacher. To work within the project:
 “Strengthening access to quality and inclusive education services for the vulnerable boys and girls of the Palestinian refugee communities in Lebanon”- The project is implemented in partnership with TDH-ITALY - Funded by UNICEF.
•Job Title: Learning Support Teacher
•Duty Station/Location: Baalbeck- Wavel Camp
•Working Days: 6 days a week 
•Duration: from 1st of April to 30th of September 

Key Responsibilities:

•Teaching and educating students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care.
•Responsible for submitting daily timesheet to the line manager.
•Assigning the needs of students and using knowledge and specialized skills to support students’ learning;
•Working with selected students, on individual and small group basis, in learning support interventions specifically designed to support their needs; and the basic skills in Mathematics;
•Providing objective and accurate feedback and reports as required on students’ achievement, progress and other matters.
•Controlling and maintaining the equipment and contents available in the center.
•Keeping an ongoing positive communication with the parents.
•Undertaking any other duties, as may be required.

Qualifications:
•Minimum two years of experience working in Active and Inclusive Learning support with Elementary Classes.
•Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
•Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic languages.
•Experience in computer skills "computer programs", experience in social networking sites and creating educational videos.

Job Procedures:
•Only Candidates with the required qualifications and at least having first dose vaccine or ready to be vaccinated will be included in the short list.
•Shortlisted Candidates, will be invited for a Technical Test (60% of total grade) & interview (40% of total grade) conducted in English.
•Priority will be given to fully qualified registered Palestinian refugees’ candidates in Wavel Camp.
•Only the top 05- ranked-candidates in the technical test will be invited for the interview.
