Bamboo Trainer

The trainer is required to coordinate with the project manager to combine the needs with the training’s material.

Areas of Responsibility:

Developing the capacities of women to become skilled bamboo makers, by offering them bamboo trainings. The training includes both theory and practice related to bamboo’ manipulation, design, decoration, shaping, etc.

A bamboo trainer will teach the women the way to prepare the bamboo slivers from bamboo split, complete a bamboo basket and/or master any other item of desired shape & size by interlacing the slivers.

The trainer is required to help women identify good slivers and how to create them, maintain hand eye coordination and vision that is needed to create a proper bamboo shape (including near vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to change focus).

The main task to be completed by the Trainer shall be:

• Developing the training materials to be used in the training module, and implement the meeting agendas agreed upon with the project management team.
• Providing workshop on bamboo trainer to a group.

Deliverables

The provider of services shall be responsible for the following deliverables.

1. Training Cycle Program
2. Training Curriculum 
3. Final Appraisal at the end of the training cycle.

Level of Effort

The Trainer shall have the following number of hours allocated for this task:
