COUNSELING AND PSS TRAINING

Background:

Amel Association International is looking for a qualified and experienced PSS specialist / trainer to train its team of social workers. Under the Protection sector, Amel aims to support a favorable protection and implements community empowerment activities in its Community Development Centers targeting youths and adults.

Amel Association invites qualified and experienced PSS specialist/ trainer to submit offers for training services as per the below.

 

Objectives

• Reflect on current practices and means to improve them

• Equip social workers and team members with needed tools to plan and implement PSS activities

• Increase the creativity of social workers when planning activities and events

 

Roles and responsibilities

• Develop training content for PSS/ Counseling activities

• Deliver two days training to group of social workers/ psychologists

Deliverables/outputs

• Training agenda and material

• Final training report

 

Timeframe (Total 4 working days)

• Days 1 and 2: Preparation of training content and coordination with Amel

• Days 3-4: implementation of trainings

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, development or a related field

EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing similar projects and activities focusing on PSS
within humanitarian settings.
• Specialized expertise in trainings and capacity building
• Knowledgeable of the local economic, political, and refugee context
