ICT Assistant

The ICT Assistant is responsible to evaluate the IT skills for co-workers and care givers to create the suitable ICT training material with cooperation with HR Manager and ICT Manager. He trains co-workers, caregivers, youths, and children on IT skills and support them to build their IT capacities. He is dedicated to support ICT activities in the villages, in other SOS programmes, and in National Office if needed. He reports to the ICT Manager for any ICT related activities.

Key performance areas and main responsibilities:

Physical installation of computers, servers, peripherals and network equipment.

Strategic planning, target setting, budgeting

Monitoring, evaluation and reporting

Child Safeguarding (CS)

• Responsible within own area of work to prevent and protect children of all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence and discrimination based on SOS Child Protection Policy principles
• Responsible to report any CS suspicion, concern, allegation or incident immediately following Child Safeguarding reporting procedures. CS reports should be made to the national CS focal person or any other member of the national CS team and/or to the respective line manager.

Protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA)

• Take appropriate actions to prevent and reduce the risk of SEA in areas of operation, including through awareness-raising, training, SEA risk assessments, child safeguarding and other measures;
• Take disciplinary action in response to proven misconduct, in line with relevant internal administrative policies and procedures.
• Take steps to identify and effectively mitigate against SEA in all programme activities
