Main Responsibilities:
- Review and elaborate MEAL system, including data collection templates for multiple program activity lines; pre- and post-test tracking; attendance and participation logs; indicators tracking aligned with program goals; automatic calculation of key performance metrics; dashboards for daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring
- develop a database ensuring the integration and consolidation of multi-source data.
- Ensure the system is user-friendly for program staff, with minimal technical support required.
- Develop instructions, guides, and training materials for staff on system usage.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and basic statistical analysis to ensure data quality.
-Support the preparation of donor-ready reports and internal progress summaries.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of the MEAL system.
Required Education: Master’s Degree in one of the following areas: Statistics / Biostatistics; Monitoring & Evaluation / MEAL; Public Health or Epidemiology; Development Studies or Social Sciences with research focus; Data Analytics or Information Management.
Required qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, macros, data visualization) and proven non complicated applications.
- Strong statistical and data analysis skills.
- Proven experience in designing and managing databases and developing analytical dashboards.
- Knowledge of MEAL systems used in NGOs including monitoring and evaluation frameworks, indicators, and results-based management.
Experience
- A minimum of 7 years in related jobs, preferably in NGOs, educational or health institutions.
Other preferred requirements & skills
- Age: 27 and above
- Experience with programs in prevention, social endeavors, health and mental health, youth development, or education.
- Familiarity with data management tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Power BI, or KoboToolbox).
- Languages: Fluent in Arabic, English and French

Contract:
- Short term, project-based, flexible, with substantial work at offices
- Duration: 1-2 months
- Compensation will be determined based on deliverables, demonstrated technical capability and years of experience. A milestone-based payment schedule will be applied.
