Education Coordinator - Bekaa Area

Maintain and support open communication between senior management and field staff

Follow-up on implementation of field activities and provide field teams with needed support

Support the education manager in reporting and donor compliance processes

Deputize for the education manager in appropriate settings, and take on day-to-day implementation follow-up.

Provide field and back office staff with support (e.g. filing, emailing and data entry)

Relay staff concerns to the manager

Prepare, review and submit documents to the manager, including but not limited to: reports, field activity work plans, donor compliance documents etc.

Schedule, attend, take minute and participate in meetings with external and internal programmatic stakeholders

Meet with staff to discuss concerns or questions, then convey those issues to manager

Maintain programmatic documents and data sets and add new information as it becomes available

Maintain oversight on reporting, planning and data of field staff

Have a clear idea about education activities that other institutions working in the same area are carrying out with displaced Syrians.

Work with staff (Outreach team, Education team) individually to create learning plans (monthly and weekly).

Communicate emerging educational and CP issues to the project coordinator on an ongoing basis, and submit regular monitoring report summarizing the updates in the centers, schools and field levels.

Implement programs with a focus on the most vulnerable, develop needs in collaboration with Head of centers and Advisors

Follow up with Head of Centers the proper implementation of projects, feedback to Advisors about progress assessment, and help at putting corrective measures control quality at program implementation

Ensure regular visits to community centers to assess adherence to minimum standards and to provide awareness report and feedback

Create program materials, establish staffing requirements, and ensure that program achieved stated objectives.

Contribute to documentation of technical/program approaches, lessons learned, and success stories.

Establish and maintain appropriate working relationships with government, institutions, partner organizations, and local NGOs in target areas.

Identify children requiring case management and ensure safe referral to case management agencies or service providers.

Follow up on referrals in collaboration with field staff and other NGOs and UN agencies.

Share in the community centers’ Program teams to finalize field operational work plans, establish clear targets and activity plans for each community center.
