School Administrator

General Goal:

The school administrator is responsible for supporting the school principal in all administrative tasks to ensure a proper running of the school.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

I-School Management

    • Ensure that students attend scheduled periods throughout the school day in case of absence of the school principal.
    • Prepare and maintain student lists and school records.
    • Provide required help for the preparation of report cards (grades) and behavior reports to parents.
    • Gather data regarding the needs of students according the school principal’s direction.
    • Management of the building (electricity/water available, repairs, etc…)
    • Supervise support staff (cleaners and guard)

 

II-Educational

  • Help in the daily management of the school (arrival of students, class entrance, exit from the school and an establishment of an adequate school discipline)
  • Keep the insurance records of the children.

 

III-School Environment and Staff

 

  • Make sure to take proper notes during the meeting and share them with the team.
  • Establish professional and respectful relations with students, with parents and with staff.

 

IV-Relations with Project Office

  • Ensure that student records are complete and up to date.
  • Present on time all records and reports as requested by the project office.
  • Establish and maintain an effective inventory system for all school supplies, materials and equipment.
  • Provide a monthly request for procurement of school supplies.
  • Work in close collaboration with the principals but report to the Project Director.

- Proficient in MS Office Application (Arabic and English)
- Previous working experience in school administration is a plus
