IT Support Clerk - Beirut - National Candidates Only

Scope of work

Based on the ongoing and upcoming projects in the IT department, this request is for an IT support clerk which will be doing some basic technical tasks that require minimal IT experience, as most of these tasks are to be performed on many laptops and mobile phones with minimum intervention but with continuous coordination between the users and the IT department to set appointments and communicate status updates.

Deliverables:

During the duration of the employment, the IT support clerk will be performing these tasks:

  • Wiping laptops for disposal.
  • Testing the functionality of laptops.
  • Updating/reimaging laptops software.
  • Updating IRC mobile phones’ software.
  • Keeping records of new employees and their assets.
  • Helping in coordinating schedules for the new UEM deployment with staff.
  • Performing inventory count for consumables.

For the ongoing project of laptops disposal, testing and wiping IRC old laptops that are set for disposal should be done within the first month.

As for the UEM deployment project from HQ, 60% of the users should have been enrolled during this time, and the clerk will have to coordinate the timing and appointments for these users and updating their computers and mobile phones software accordingly.

 

Schedule:

Monday till Friday from 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM.

 

Requirements:

The candidate should have some basic IT expertise:

  • Good knowledge in using Microsoft office (work, excel, outlook).
  • No previous IT experience.
  • Good knowledge and use of computer systems.
  • Good knowledge in Android OS.

Skills:

  • Time management.
  • Teamwork.
  • Basic communication (English is a plus).

 

Education:

Enrolled in Computer Science, IT, CCE or similar undergrad program.
