UNV Junior Civil Engineer

Under the direct supervision of the Head of Urban Planning and Design Unit, the National UN Youth Volunteer will:

• Assist in ensuring quality assurance, monitoring and reporting the implementation of engineering and architectural project activities;

• Support in reviewing and tracking Daily Progress Reports (DPRs);

• Support in reviewing and tracking Requests for Inspections (RIs);

• Participate in preparing specifications, bills of quantities and cost estimates;

• Assist in preparing and updating project documentation, including project plan, project schedule, scope of work, drawings and technical documents;

• Attend and summarize internal or external meetings;

• Contribute to following up on community requests;

• Support in overseeing and supervising on-site works;

• Assist in calculation of quantities of executed works and in preparing progress reports;

• Participate in procurement tasks and bids analysis;

• Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.
