Job Specifications
The Project Coordinator will work closely with the program manager and the M&E Officer.
This person will be responsible for the quality of implementation of the project and will ensure that the project is being delivered in high quality and according to WPA’s Program Implementation Standards and donor’s standards.
He/ She will be supporting the Program Manager in the outreach and will ensure that good coordination with all project’s stakeholders is maintained.
The project Coordinator will be reporting to the program manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and information
- Breakdown project’s activities into doable actions and set timeframes
- Assign tasks to internal team and assist with schedule management
- Make sure that beneficiaries’ needs are met as the project evolves
- Analyze risks and opportunities
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to the project manager
- Use tools to monitor the flow of activities
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings when requested.
- Ensure project deadlines are met.
- Provide administrative support when needed
- Undertake project tasks as required.
- Ensure that activities adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately
- Secure documentation of indicators/checklists/other documents related to the project;
- Ensure that supporting documentation for M&E is secured and accurate;
- Submit all needed supporting documents and figures to project manager on monthly basis.
Others:
- Attend team meetings
- Undertake other related duties, as assigned or requested by the Program Manager
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in education, business or social sector including management experience.
- A bachelor degree in social studies, education, business management, developmental studies or Public Administration or any other relevant field.
- Strong relationship-building and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Highly organized and motivated, ability to multitask in a timely manner, team player
- Strong experience in donors –funded projects is a must
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic
- Excellent reporting, communication and interpersonal skills
