Call for internship – communication

The Lebanese Center for Civic Education LCCE is a Non Governmental Organization working since 2007 to empower youth and women to be change makers in their
communities.

Through its community development programs, LCCE empowers youth through:

• Developing Curricula on vocational trainings, soft skills, civic engagement, entrepreneurship
• Building youth skills and knowledge on technical work, soft skills, & social entrepreneurship
• Facilitating youth and women access to labor market
• Developing social cohesion & peace building approach and promoting human rights culture

In 2021, LCCE has launched “Imkaniyat” a program dedicated to empower women to actively participate in the life of their communities. The program consists of
capacity building, and networking among women for an active participation on economic, health, social and public levels. The activities are implemented in
blended format, with focus on online activities

Internship description:

The intern is expected to support in Communication tasks linked to “Imkaniyat” project:

- Assist in the communication strategy and visibility

- Support in managing, developing, and sharing content on the social media pages, online groups, and website

- Ensure online communication and e-networking with beneficiaries

- Develop and share content about success stories

Requirements:

BA in multi-media, social sciences, digital marketing, or any relevant field of study

Preferred qualifications:

- Strong communication skills in Arabic and English

- Creativity to develop multi-media content, and familiarity with social media communication

- Logical writing skills

- Strong interest in community development and women empowerment projects

- Proficiency in Microsoft office

- Previous experience working on social media communication is preferred
