INJAZ Lebanon is a non-profit organization, an affiliate of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, with a mission to equip youth with the skills and mindset they need to become the entrepreneurs and business leaders stimulating their communities. It is also a member of INJAZ Al-Arab, a regional network of 14 countries across the MENA region. INJAZ Lebanon delivers programs in partnership with the business sector focusing on entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy.
Position SummaryThe Entrepreneurship Coordinator will work closely with the Programs Manager and the Operations Manager. This person will be responsible of the quality of implementation of INJAZ Lebanon Social Entrepreneurship project in the schools/centers and will:
- Ensure that INJAZ program is being delivered in high quality and according to INJAZ Lebanon’s Program Implementation Standards (PIS) and donors’ standards
- Support the Programs Manager in the outreach of youth and the Monitoring & Evaluation of the project
- Ensure that good coordination with all project’s stakeholders is maintained
- Organize and follow-up on programs implementation in schools including on site follow-up, correspondence and data management
- Help recruit and train JETters
- Help organize partners’ recognition events and other INJAZ events as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES
Schools Follow-Up
- Follow-up with schools on a weekly basis through classroom visits, emails and calls to ensure smooth running and quality delivery of all programs.
- Organize the schedules with the schools & volunteers
- Assist the Programs Manager in increasing numbers of enrolled schools and students in schools, this includes conducting presentations to recruit new schools and filling the agreement to ensure quality implementation.
- Organize and gather required documentation from schools (MOU, student attendance, evaluation questionnaire).
- Gather testimonials from students and school representatives.
JETers & Volunteers Follow-Up
- Maintain positive relationships with JETters and volunteers and sustain regular follow-up and coaching through phone calls, class visits and feedback meetings before the first session, during delivery and after last session.
- Assist the Program Manager in recruiting new volunteers and JETters through meeting, presenting, filling applications, screening and selection.
- Gather testimonials from volunteers & JETters and surveys results as needed.
Program Quality and Growth
- Learn about each INJAZ program and the requirements to ensure a quality implementation.
- Help organizes regular midterm focus group sessions with JETters, volunteers and schools.
- Assist in analyzing evaluation questionnaires and organizing student and JETter data.
- Participate in the development, adaptation, translation, printing and piloting of programs.
- Ensure availability of all program materials and coordinate with the schools, volunteers, and JETters.
Training/Events/PR
- Assist in organizing and delivering JETters training programs. Responsible of the location of training rooms, prints orientation/training materials, organize logistics and support delivery.
- Contribute to the execution of the organizational marketing plan (media communication, brochure, newsletter, website) by sharing program stories and testimonials.
Administration/Data Management
- Compose, draft and edit necessary correspondence to schools, JETters, universities and volunteers.
- Contribute to program documentation and filing. Maintain a database of schools, volunteers, JETters, and students participating in the program.
- Support the INJAZ team in preparing a yearly plan for programs implementation.
- Deliver reports of program implementation as needed.
- Attend all team meetings and other meetings when necessary.
- Support budget expectation by recycling, reusing and restocking program materials.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Other relevant field or equivalent.
- 2+ years professional experience.
- Excellent English and Arabic spoken and written skills. French is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills, able to prioritize workload, proactive approach to meeting deadlines with limited supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Highly organized and motivated, ability to multitask, complete tasks in a timely manner and work as a team member.
