Summary of Job Duties:
- Work closely with social workers and ensure that staff implement and respect best- practices.
- Ensure and monitor the correct documentation of cases through review of files and database.
- Manag a team and review staff caseloads to ensure they are manageable and share challenges with the SSW.
- Support individual cases when requires and provide regular monitoring of all aspects of services.
- Conduct on a weekly basis individual session for social workers.
- Conduct bimonthly meetings with social workers team
- Conduct technical performance audit twice per year
- Enhance capacity of Caritas staff to safely identify and refer PWD cases to specialized partners
- Ensure the implementation of the internal and National SOP’s, guidelines, referral and coordination mechanisms for assistance to beneficiaries.
- Provide capacity building trainings for the staff.
- Coordinate with PHCC
- Assist with data collection and analysis, make recommendations on programming aligned with findings.
- Submit quality reports as scheduled including but not limited to monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Coordinate and follow up regularly on weekly basis with therapists to ensure proper intervention and conduct monthly conferences.
- Coordinate with M&E to ensure collecting all needed data
- Coordinate with PC to ensure proper implementation of project components.
Specific Skills Required:
- Demonstrated experience and training in staff management
- Experience working with persons with disabilities specifically children, migrants/refugees and other groups
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to relate and connect with people of different cultural, ethnic, and social-economic backgrounds and a passion for helping others
- Ability to plan well, set own targets and meet them
- Excellent facilitation, training and research skills
- Commitment to the aims, principles and values of Caritas Lebanon
- Experience in building capacity of teams and staff
- Proficient in English and Arabic both written and oral
