Basic Literacy and Numeracy (BLN) and Advanced BLN Tutor

Responsibilities:

• Manage and educate groups of children from ages 7 to 14 years old (ages could vary according to needs) according to provided curriculum requirements, using exciting methods and instructional materials to meet children’s varying needs and interests

• Plan, prepare, animate, lead, and mediate creatively

• Organize educational, recreational, and social activities for students
• Ensure, promote, and facilitate that the principles of child protection and child participation are integrated into all project activities and communication with students
• Always ensure strict adherence to ADRA Lebanon Child Protection Policies, including respect for confidentiality and a child-centered approach, acting in the best interests of the child
• Show self-motivation, enthusiasm, and creativity.
• Work effectively with team members.

• Maintain records and prepare reports and recommendations
• Work in close coordination with the administration Project Manager, Outreach Officers, Inclusion Officer, and all other related staff
• Provide monthly reports on the progress and effectiveness of actions made.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature as requested.

•  Maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Experience in designing and applying various assessment techniques to measure and monitor student progress.
• Resourceful and organized, with excellent time management abilities. • Able to deliver negative information tactfully and diplomatically when needed.
• Acts ethically and handles sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Team-oriented with a positive, approachable attitude.
