arche noVa - Initiative for People in Need is an independent, non-religious, non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO) from Germany working in the fields of humanitarian aid, rehabilitation and development. The primary focus of activities lies in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Disaster Risk Reduction and Livelihoods as well as informal Education in the Middle East region.

Since 2016 arche noVa (A.N) has been active in Lebanon, implementing projects focusing on access to safe water, sanitation as well as on informal education. We are currently expanding our activities in the livelihood sector in the Nord and Akkar region. For the implementation and coordination of this humanitarian aid project we are looking for an experienced professional:

Under the responsibility of the FSL and WaSH projects managers, the enumerators will be responsible to:

• Actively attend training and planning sessions on assessment methodology and questionnaires for the FSL and WaSH needs assessment
• Understanding the project objective and context
• Conducting high quality needs assessment with the beneficiaries on Kobo/ODK or other alternative forms.
• Reporting to the managers any issue related to the codification of the assessment
• Reporting any missing question raised during the assessment
• Reporting achievements and challenges on daily basis
• Providing feedback to the WaSH or FSL project managers at the end of each field day

• Previous experience in data collection and filling questionnaire using Kobo/ODK forms or other alternative forms;
• Knowledge about WaSH and FSL projects;
• Experience working in Akkar and North Lebanon;
• Valid Lebanese driving license;
• Own a car to reach the areas of interventions;
• Knowledge of humanitarian principles and good knowledge of the region and local languages;
• Good organizational, coordination, time-management and communication skills
• Work accurately with close attention to details;
• Initiative, flexibility and willing to learn;
• Experience in Agriculture and WaSH is a plus.
