Welthungerhilfe (WHH) is about to start new programs in Lebanon with altogether 5 partner organizations. This will require excellent communication and moderation skills of the managers and the team-leaders.
WHH plans therefor to conduct a training in moderation and team-communication for related WHH personnel and managers of partner organizations. The workshop is to be conducted in presence (not online).
Time of the workshop: Two days somewhere in October or November
External facilitator needed: yes, maybe facilitator plus assistant
Possible content of the training:
Training has to take place in English language
- Morning (9-12): Theory
- Afternoon (13.30-16.30): Practical exercises
Models and techniques from communication theory and psychology applied in a practical way through input, exercises, and role-playing:
- Moderation - more than classic meeting management
- Role of the moderator.
- Conflict area of leadership responsibility - neutral moderation.
- Techniques of moderation
- Moderating events
- Effect as moderator
- Moderation in practice
- Work on case studies.
- Exercises in dealing with moderation techniques.
- Transfer of techniques to own field of work.
- Feedback on own effect in the role of moderator.
- Specific tips on how to improve one's own moderation skills.

Facilitation fee:
- Welthungerhilfe reserves the right to choose the most economic offer after evaluating quality and suitability of the training concept
- The trainer may propose to do the training either allone or together with an assistant
