LOST is seeking to recruit a project Coordinator in baalbeck ,the project coordinator works to assist “Localized and more accountable, inclusive and coordinated humanitarian response” project team with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information. He/she organizes the project with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget.
Job Description :
• Conduct capacity assessments for local CSOs in Baalbek-Hermel;
• Providing training opportunities for local CSOs staff through engaging individuals in workshops, meetings and trainings according to the required need and project’s activities;
• Coordinate with relevant actors to develop specific learning material, mentoring and coaching tools for CSOs;
• Collect all relevant data on participation to training and update skills databases, reports, and other documentation in a timely manner;
• Lead review meetings with partners, with particular attention given to the relationship aspects of partnership collaboration, and ensure that any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
• Ensure project deadlines are met.
• Determine project changes.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Undertake project tasks as required.
• Develop project strategies.
• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
• Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
• Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
• Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
Qualifications:
BA in Social Science or any other related field.
5 years of experience in managment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with team members.
Ability to show positive and collaborative approach toward diversity.
Flexibility and ability to deal with cultural differences.
Fluency in English and Arabic.
