The Child Protection Facilitator is part of the Child Protection Project under the Child Protection and Education Department and reports to the Child Protection Project Coordinator.
Job Description:
- Identify vulnerable children and caregivers in need of PSS sessions in line with inter-agency selection criteria.
- Deliver FPSS sessions to children and caregivers.
- Ensure PSS sessions are aligned with global minimum and national inter-agency SOPs standards.
- Ensure to identify and refer children and caregivers in need of case management to CP case management every month.
- Maintain positive relations with local implementing actors, local authorities, and other international and local stakeholders.
- Ensure the proper documentation of data collected (hard and soft copies) during FPSS (attendance sheets, permission, parental consent, referrals, etc.)
- Ensure that all children and caregivers accessing PSS sessions and identified as being at high risk are referred to case management.
- Review the coaching session/plan with the project coordinator and agree on areas needing strengthening every week.
- Familiar with core principles of Children’s Rights, Participation, Do No Harm, Community, and Family.
Requirements:
- BA in psychology, sociology, social sciences/humanities, specialized education or social animation, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Ability to work within a team
- Excellent Arabic and English Language
