Procurement Officer

SET is looking for a full-time Procurement Officer responsible for:

• Source – research potential vendors
• Prepare plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies
• Draft procurement policies and procedures
• Draft RFPs – identify needs & requirements, related budget and deadlines
• Conduct market research – explore vendors’ offerings and evaluate prospective suppliers.
• Evaluate suppliers and select final vendors
• Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services to be purchased
• Negotiate terms and conditions with selected vendor(s)
• Monitor suppliers’ performance
• Initiate and keep track of orders
• Prepare comparative analysis between various suppliers / contractors
• Prepare budgets, and cost analyses

Qualified candidates need a degree in accounting, business management, or a similar field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position.
